A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a 1987 American horror film, sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), produced and distributed by New Line Cinema, directed by Chuck Russell and starring Patricia Arquette and Heather Langenkamp.
Synopsis[]
Years after the incidents on Elm Street, Nancy Thompson, who is now a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy, works in a psychiatric facility conducting group therapy with young people who suffer from constant nightmares in which Freddy Krueger appears.
When several of the boys are murdered, Nancy does not hesitate to reveal her experience with Krueger and proposes that the survivors join forces to fight the murderer in the dream world. Thus, adolescents learn to develop special abilities within their dreams that they will use to fight the demon of their nightmares.

Curiosities[]
- In Jennifer's death scene, Freddy says: "Welcome to Prime Time, Bitch", which translates as "Welcome to prime time, bitch", a phrase that was adapted as: "Now you're going to participate".
- Pedro D'Aguillón Jr., Patricia Acevedo, Carlos Becerril and Gaby Willer reprise their roles from the first part as Freddy Krueger, Nancy Thompson, Donald Thompson and the girls jumping rope respectively.
- Luis Alfonso Mendoza, Rocío Garcel, Elsa Covián, Genaro Vásquez and Arturo Casanova participate again in the saga but with different characters.
- Most of the actors who were in the first two previous movies are in this one. with the exception of Sergio Gutiérrez Coto, Mónica Manjarrez, Araceli de León, Martín Soto, Nancy MacKenzie, Arturo Mercado, José Luis Castañeda, Jorge Roig, Herman López and Carlos Magaña.
- Rocío Garcel plays a main character and two secondary characters.
- In the dub, the film is titled only: A Nightmare on Elm Street: Part Three, ignoring the subtitle "The Dream Warriors".
- During its broadcast on the TCM channel, the film is listed in the commercials as Nightmare 3: the fear continues.
- Freddy's laugh before killing Phillip was not dubbed nor was the original laugh left, leaving it mute.
- In old television broadcasts, the film and the dubbing were censored. Currently said censorship no longer exists, since the Blu-ray version is broadcast.
- In the scene where Freddy takes the form of Nurse Marcie, a large part of the scene was cut, just beginning when Freddy returns to his original form, omitting some dialogue from Rocío Garcel.
- In the scene where Freddy kills Taryn, several takes were cut, including when Freddy says, "Let's get high" and "What a trip."
- In the scene where Freddy tries to kill Kristen, he says, "Now it's your turn, bitch." This was censored and only heard: "Now it's your turn."
