Agustín Sauret (March 7, 1927 - January 25, 2017) was a Mexican radio, television, and dubbing actor. Owner of a pleasant voice, mostly high-pitched, with which I play multiple characters throughout several decades of an extensive and outstanding career.
He is recognized for having masterfully portrayed the character of Ned Flanders in the outstanding series The Simpsons, for 15 years, among other characters are Dr. McCoy in Star Trek.

He began his career in XEW radio soap operas and radio dramas, to later get into dubbing at the end of the 1950s.
He also made some roles in soap operas throughout his career, he is mainly recognized for being the voice of Ned Flanders in the animated series The Simpsons from the 2nd season to the 13th season and in the 15th; who in turn dabbled in additional voices as well as playing recurring characters, for example; in the first four seasons to director Seymour Skinner. In addition, he was the voice of actors such as Henry Fonda, Charles Kay, DeForest Kelley, James Garner, James Mason, among others.
In Agustín's last works he was dubbing his only fixed character: Ned Flanders. With the change of director in season 16, Marina Huerta offered Sauret to resume the character of Ned, but did not reach an agreement with the director or with the company. After that, he eventually withdrew completely from the medium, leaving Night Flight, as his last project in the medium.
He passed away on January 25, 2017. He was the husband of the writer Marisa Garrido, sister of Amparo Garrido and father of the dubbing actor Mario Sauret.
In January 2017, Fox Channel Latin America paid him a small tribute by broadcasting episodes dedicated to Flanders, who was one of its most emblematic characters.
