Alejandro "Alex" Ortega is a Mexican voice actor and announcer with more than 20 years in the professional field.
Information[]
He studied at the Centro de Estudios de la Comunicación Social (C.E.C.S) and in 1996 began his career in dubbing. He is best known as the voice of Hades in Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter in its television version. In his role as Hades, he served as the host of the site: Hades TV.
Among other well-known roles is as Madman Bunji in Gungrave, and the Lord of Shadows in Deltora Quest, the T-800 in the The Terminator special edition, Freddy Krueger in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, Quintus in Gladiator, Sergeant Bobo in The New Woody Woodpecker Show, Vision in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, among others.
He was the official voice of TDN (Televisa Deportes Network) and TDW (Televisa Deportes W), the commercial voice of Paramount Pictures movies, voice of CV directo, among others. He is currently the official voice of Univision Latin America.

Curiosities[]
- A curious fact about Alex is that he worked simultaneously and in a numbered way during the dubbing of The Zodiac Knights: The Hades Saga, in Hades Sanctuary he was the voice of Giganto of Cyclops, in Hades Hell he dubbed Rock of Golem and in Hades Elysium he was the narrator of the episodes, even though in that OVA the series had changed studio and dubbing director, besides having been the voice of the god of the underworld Hades during the whole series.
