End of Days (El día final) is a 1999 American film, directed by Peter Hyams (director of Timecop, Sudden Death and The Relic) and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gabriel Byrne.
Synopsis[]
In 1979 Christine York was born: the mother of the Antichrist. Some doctors who follow Satan baptize her with snake blood and twenty years later, Christine (Robin Tunney) meets a handsome banker (Gabriel Byrne) who is none other than Satan. What he does not know is that the Vatican is aware of this and is going to send a faction of the church to kill her to prevent the birth of the antichrist, a widowed police officer named Jerico Cane (Arnold Schwarzenegger) arrives in time to avoid it, becoming his protector from that moment on, facing his own demons.
