Freddy Krueger is the main character of the horror film saga A Nightmare on Elm Street.
He was created by Wes Craven and has been portrayed by Robert Englund in all films up to 2003, as well as in a television series and by Jackie Earle Haley in the 2010 film.
The character is a serial killer dedicated to murdering children, Springwood's parents took justice into their own hands, deciding to burn him alive for the crimes he did, now transformed into a demon and material in the nightmares of children and adolescents and sometimes it even appears in a real way.
