Joaquin Phoenix (originally credited as Leaf Phoenix) is a Puerto Rican-American actor born on October 28, 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Renowned actor who made his film debut in supporting roles, becoming widely known in To Die For, a film in which he plays a misfit young man who is seduced into carrying out a murder, although he is mostly remembered for his role as Commodus in the film Gladiator and Johnny Cash in the film Walk the Line with Reese Witherspoon. Currently, he is one of the most respected actors in cinema.
He won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Arthur Fleck in the film Joker, in 2020.
