Joe Pesci is a veteran American actor who became known for his appearance in the film Raging Bull, by Martin Scorsese. He has also acted in films such as Once upon a time in America, by Sergio Leone; Moonwalker, co-starring with Michael Jackson and in which he played the villain; the saga of Lethal Weapon; and the first two installments of Home Alone, where he paired with Daniel Stern.
He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1991 for his role as violent mobster Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas, a film that reunited him with Scorsese. Later they would collaborate again on Casino, and after a long absence, he would work again with the renowned director on the film The Irishman in 2019.
