José Carlos Moreno (February 24, 1968 - May 3, 2002) was a Mexican actor, dubbing director, and broadcaster.
He is fondly remembered by the public for being the first voice of Barney the Dinosaur on the hit show Barney & Friends. He was also known for voicing Ross Geller in the first 6 seasons of Friends, Zorro in The Mask of Zorro and also for voicing Phoenix Ikki in some films of Saint Seiya.
He died on May 3, 2002 due to a vehicular accident on the route that connects Mexico D.F. with Cuernavaca, Morelos (via Mexico-Cuernavaca). [1][2]
