Adolfo Ricardo Alanís, better known as Ricardo Alanís is a veteran Argentine actor and dubbing director.

Being one of the most accomplished actors in his country, among the best-known characters he has played are: Anubis "Doggie" Cruger / El Ranger Sombra S.P.D. in Power Rangers S.P.D., Luc Deveraux / GR44 in the original dubbing of Universal Soldier, Frost, the hunter and Tynar in the animated series W.I.T.C.H..

In addition to the remembered characters: Iván Cegado and the Ghost of the Northwest Mansion in the remembered series Gravity Falls and the Narrator (Unseen/Opening voice only in the title card), Male characters in Shadow's Stories, Big Old Bullfrog, Doc Hogg, Jeremiah Tortoise, Jack the Dog and Various from Bear in the Big Blue House in the Argentinian Spanish dub.

While in the world of video games, he is known for having played characters like Artanis in StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void and in Heroes of the Storm and Illidan Stormrage also in Heroes of the Storm.

He is currently part of the teaching team at the ESCUELA ARGENTINA DE DOBLAJE and he is retired from directing, only working as an actor.

He participated in numerous national films and plays. And he started dubbing in 1991, making him one of the actors with the most experience in his country.

He voiced actors such as Robin Williams, Gérard Depardieu, John Travolta, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Christopher Walken, Harvey Keitel and Willem Dafoe, among others.

As a dubbing director, he directed the dubbing of series for Disney Channel, Buena Vista Internacional, Space, Jetix, BVI – Italia, Sony, Fox and Nat Geo.
