Rocky II is the sequel to the famous saga of Rocky made in 1979, directed by Sylvester Stallone and starring him himself, along with Carl Weathers, Burgess Meredith, Burt Young and Talia Shire reprising the same roles as in the original film.

- Salvador Delgado who voiced Rocky Balboa in Rocky V, and in the redoubling of Rocky and Rocky III, he voices Apollo Creed on the redub. A condition very similar to that of Blas García who dubbed Apollo Creed in the original dubbing of this film and would become the regular dubbing actor for Sylvester Stallone.
- Arturo Mercado who played Rocky Balboa in the original dubbing of this film, voices Paulie in the redoubling.
- Salvador Nájar who was the voice of the director of commercials, doubles Tony Duke in the dubbing.
- Esteban Siller who voiced Paulie Pennino in the original dubbing of the first film, plays Mickey Goldmill in the first version of this film.
- Araceli de León who dubbed Adrian Pennino in the original dubbing of this film, would give him voice again in Rocky V in his first dubbing and in the first redubs of Rocky and Rocky III.
- From 2015 to 2016, some Channel 5 promos were broadcast with the dubbing, but despite the fact that the promos were seen with that version, the complete film was still kept with the original dubbing. As of May 19, 2018, it is broadcast with redoubling.
- In the previous film both the SISSA and Auditel versions, Rocky's nickname is the Italian stallion,in this sequel in both versions it is translated as the stallion Italian.
