Sergio Gutiérrez Barrios (April 8, 1933 - February 2, 2019) was a well-known Mexican dubbing actor. Famous for having been the voice of the iconic character Flash Gordon in the eponymous animated series. Also for having played characters like Sio Bibble in the episodes I, and II of Star Wars, Commander Eric Lassard in Police Academy and Jeff Lebowski in the original dub of The Big Lebowski, among many others from a career spanning over 40 years.
He was married to fellow actress Andrea Coto and was the father of fellow actors Sergio and Andrés Gutiérrez Coto and grandfather of fellow actor Mauricio Gutiérrez.
He passed away on February 2, 2019 at the age of 85, due to cardiac complications.
